LeasePlus history

In June 2017 the business of dtr leaseplus was purchased by Point Capital Limited ( and incorporated into LeasePlus Limited as a new standalone entity. dtr leaseplus was founded by dtr New Zealand many years ago to meet the needs of business owners in the accommodation and hospitality sector. Point Capital is owned by the directors of LeasePlus Limited.

LeasePlus continues to enjoy a close working relationship with dtr New Zealand. dtr provides contract service for LeasePlus in many parts of NZ where we do not have a local office or representatives so that our clients continue to get the level of service they have come to expect.

Earl Stevens - Managing Director

Earl has over 30 years industry experience in the public and private business sectors, locally and internationally. He has extensive experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, commercialization, strategy and execution. Earl leads the Point Capital Investment banking business, the parent company of LeasePlus Limited.

Tony Hannon - Director

Tony is a Partner at Bancorp Merchant Bankers with 30 years extensive experience in all facets of corporate finance. He is Chairman of a number of companies including Omni Health, General Capital Technologies, Hurlingham Partners and it's operations Small Business Accounting and Index Tourism Group. He is a non executive director of Moana New Zealand, Sealord Group and Treble Cone Ski Area among others.

Richard Justice - CFO

Richard is experienced in management and finance for IT and Biotech companies and was CEO of a NASDAQ listed technology group, which included an IT equipment finance subsidiary. Richard has been CFO of early stage businesses, experienced in managing companies undergoing rapid growth, and lead the public listing process for companies in Australia, Canada and USA.

Nichole Brussow - Sales Manager

Nichole has over 15 years experience in Account and Sales Management, with high level experience in the travel industry, property investment sector and most recently as a top sales account manager for Cell C, one of the largest telecommunication corporations in South Africa.

Debbie Greenslade - Customer Service Manager

Debbie has over 25 years experience in accounts and administration in various industry sectors including finance, vehicle, electrical. She also ran her own small retail business for 10 years.

Taka Nai - Field Sales Service Representative

Taka has worked in the electronic industry for over 20 years. His experience includes electronic assembling, technical maintenance and installation of audio/visual products. Taka has been a field representative for DTR, for the last 6 years and has provided technical services to commercial and domestic customers in the Bay of Plenty. Taka will continue to focus on sales, TV maintenance and stock control at LeasePlus.

Steve Philp - Marketing Manager

Steve is a marketing creative with an ad agency/publishing background established in the London over many years, largely in the European marine and superyacht industries. Since moving to New Zealand in 2003 he has continued in senior marketing and creative roles for companies including Canon NZ and publishers Fairfax Media, NZME, Bauer Media.

IT Administrator and Health & Safety Officer

Andrew is a qualified network engineer with experience in service support, network administration and the development and implementation of Health and Safety systems.

Paige Patten - Sales Assistant

Paige has come from a background within the Hospitality Industry she has experience in Customer Service, Administration and Accounts. She is now looking forward to starting a new journey in Sales by Assisting our Sales Manager Nichole, here at Lease Plus.

Keith Snyders - Technical & IT Support Officer

Keith has a degree in electrical engineering and he just completed a two-year qualification in Microsoft Server management, his first foray in this sector. Keith manages the day-to-day aspects of ex-lease stock disposal for LeasePlus.
